Marketplace & intermediary terms

FanCake provides an online platform that connects users with independent creators and sellers. FanCake acts as a commercial intermediary for transactions that are completed through the platform.

1. Role of the platform

When you purchase subscriptions, tips, pay-per-view content, digital goods, physical products from the shop, wallet top-ups, or other paid features offered by a creator, the underlying supply of content or goods is provided by that creator (or third party they designate). FanCake supplies the technical infrastructure, hosting, discovery, messaging tools where applicable, and payment routing.

2. Platform fee (commission)

FanCake retains a platform fee (commission) on qualifying transactions processed through the site. The reference platform commission rate configured by the operator is 2%; creator-specific or promotional rates may differ and are shown in the creator dashboard, at checkout, or in the pricing rules configured for your account. Third-party payment processors may charge separate processing fees.

3. Payment processors

Payments may be processed by independent providers (for example card acquirers, wallets, or crypto gateways enabled by the operator). Those providers have their own terms and privacy notices. FanCake does not store full card details when the processor tokenises them.

4. Contractual relationship

General terms of the service, privacy policy, and any creator-specific terms apply in addition to this notice. For consumer rights (including withdrawal for digital content where the law allows exceptions), the disclosures in the main Terms of Service and checkout flow prevail.

5. Limitation

FanCake does not guarantee the legality, quality, or fitness of creator content or third-party products. Complaints about a specific creator or order should first be directed through the reporting and support channels indicated on the platform.
